HOROLOGY IN TOKYO
In May of this year, our speaker, Bob Frishman, and his wife Jeanne Schinto, visited three important horology sites in Tokyo, Japan: The Seiko Museum, the Daimyo Japanese Clock Museum, and the horology gallery of the National Museum of Nature and Science. Projecting more than 100 photos he took at those venues, he will speak about the riches of those collections and the unique designs and styles of Japanese horology, especially before Japan's conversion to Western timekeeping in the late 1800’s.
